This is Leatherbox

We sell leather, tools and hardware to people who make things. Independent leather crafters, studios, brands, startups, interior designers, hobbyists with a garage full of plans. From Woerden we ship across Europe, and through our US branch to America. Our customers are creative minds somewhere between a sketch and a finished product. We help them get there with materials, knowledge and inspiration.

The inspiration part is your job.

What you'll do

You become one of the faces of Leatherbox online. Together with our team you come up with new content, then you film it, edit it and post it. Instagram, TikTok, YouTube. A new leather just arrived? You show how it smells, feels and cuts. A tool everyone has questions about? You make the video that answers them. What happens in the warehouse and the shop, what makers around the world do with our gear, which trends you spot in the craft and which trends we want to set ourselves: you turn it into content people stop scrolling for.

You're in front of the camera yourself. Not because you have to, but because you enjoy it. And since most of our community lives outside the Netherlands, you mostly do it in English.

You work from Woerden with a small team that moves fast, and you align with our US branch. You think about our worldwide range, so the content works for every market. You keep a content calendar, reply to comments and messages, and track what lands and what doesn't.

What you bring

✔ You enjoy being on camera and come across naturally, even when improvising

✔ You speak and write fluent English; Dutch is nice but not required

✔ You can film and edit independently in Premiere, CapCut or similar

✔ You have a feel for visuals, pacing and what works on Instagram, TikTok and YouTube

✔ You're curious about craft and materials, or want to become so

✔ You take initiative and don't need a briefing to get started

✔ You're in Woerden at least 3 days a week, because that's where it all happens

Big pluses

Photoshop or other Adobe tools for thumbnails, stills and Stories. Experience with Shopify or another e-commerce platform. Working leather yourself, or another craft. Your own channel or portfolio that shows what you make. A big following isn't required, but we do want to see that you're already doing it.

What you get

A creative workplace that smells like leather. A role where you decide what Leatherbox looks like to an international community of makers. A small, driven team and short lines: your Monday idea is live on Friday. All the materials, tools and a studio to play with. Room to learn, including leatherwork itself.

Pay: €16.00 to €19.50 gross per hour, plus 8% holiday allowance. At 32 hours a week that comes to roughly €2,200 to €2,700 gross per month.
