The difference compared to traditional leather

Animal-free leather alternatives are also known as vegetable leather, or vegan leather. However, the word leather is protected and it is only allowed to be used for tanned animal hides. That is why Leatherbox does not offer this as vegan leather, but as a leather alternative. Ideal for those looking for a product without animal origin, but with a leather look. It is important to understand that animal-free is not the same as sustainable. Leather alternatives do contain plastics. In addition, it is not as strong as traditional leathers. Unlike traditional leather, leather alternatives contain no natural imperfections.

Colors
We try to give an accurate representation of what you order. Colors on a computer screen may look slightly different in real life. We therefore always recommend ordering a color chart of the collection first. In addition, leather from the same collection may show minor color differences per batch.

Applications
The correct choice of product depends on your wishes and the application. Always read the specific properties of the collection carefully. Sizes
Refer to the size chart for the leather alternative you would like to order. Because leather alternatives come off a roll, the sizes listed are fixed, square sizes. At Leatherbox you can buy leather alternatives in three sizes, suitable for different applications. Please contact us if you have larger size requirements.

Shipping and delivery

Made your choice? Then it's our turn. After we receive your order and payment, we hand your favourite items and our warmest regards to the courier within 1 to 3 working days. You'll get an email from us as soon as your package is on its way, and a separate email from the carrier with track & trace information. Count on a delivery time of 2 to 5 working days. Within the Netherlands it's usually a little faster. Because we have no influence on how hard the courier presses the accelerator, all delivery times are indicative.

We understand that sometimes speed matters. That's why you can also choose fast delivery with UPS Express when you order. You pay a little more in shipping, but you can start on your design sooner.

Returns and right of withdrawal

We hope you are excited to get started as soon as you receive your order. If you are not satisfied with the product(s) you ordered, you have 14 days to change your mind, counted from the day you received the last item in your order. Hasn't your order shipped yet? Then you can simply cancel it.

Submit your return or cancellation through your account. You sign in with your email address and a code we send you, so no password needed, and you receive a confirmation straight away. You can return by post or at our wholesale store in Woerden.

You may unpack and inspect the product the way you would in a shop. If it loses value because you went further than that, we may deduct that loss from your refund. Return shipping costs, including packaging, are for your own account.

Glue, edge paint, tokonole and leather care products are excluded from the right of withdrawal once the seal has been broken.
